Registration for the Photo 1 mini class is now open!
The class is completely free (but even though it’s free, still be prepared to work hard and learn everything you can about how to become a better photographer!) If you’re interested in signing up for the class, you must register so that you are able to comment and receive comments on lesson posts and receive emails regarding lessons.
Who this class is for:
- Beginners or semi- advanced photographers who need inspiration or a refresher course.
- Moms and dads wanting to learn about how to take better pictures of their children.
- Etsy shop owners interested in taking attractive pictures of their products.
- Bloggers interested in learning about how to take professional-looking blog photos.
- Those interested in taking wedding or family pictures in the future.
- People who want to take pictures as a hobby and would just like to learn for fun!

Week 1: The Good, the Bad, and the Downright Horrible! How to take a good picture and what not to do!
Week 2: A focus on colors and balance: how to coordinate outfits for kid pictures. How to arrange a composition of anything based on colors.
Week 3: Foreground, background and Depth of Field. How to make your subject stand out!
Week 4: Natural vs. artificial light. How to successfully photograph subjects indoor and outdoor.
Week 5: Photography adventure! (secret photography lesson!)
Week 6: Working with people, family, fashion, and funny kids!
Week 7: How to successfully photograph yourself.
Week 8: Class standout awards and graduation certificate!
Photo 2 Mini Course Schedule
Week 1: Shutter speed (Puddle picture assignment)
Week 2: aperture
Week 3: ISO
Week 4: putting it all together: focusing on people and emotion
Week 5: HDR High Dynamic Range: nature, architecture or still life
Week 6: advanced lighting and studio tricks.
Week 7: class standouts my recommendations for equipment: graduation certificate!

are we supposed to receive the lessons in am email? i know i subscribed and accepted it to make sure i am a real person but i cant seem to find the lessons?
