I first saw this look in a magazine on the always fashionable Lauren Conrad. After some research it seems ombre nails are all the rage this season in the fashion world. There are two takes on this trend. The first is where the color fades from one nail to the next…

The second is where the color fades on each individual nail…

As soon as I get the right colors I’m going to try the first. I’d like to try the second too, but I would probably leave that up to the professionals.
